Speech and Language Therapy
Speech therapy helps children who have difficulty producing speech sounds due to imprecise coordination, placement, sequencing, and timing of the oral structures, or to those children who have phonological disorders (e.g., producing “do” instead of “go,” “wun” instead of “run,” “tun” instead of “sun,” etc.,) making speech difficult to understand. Our goal is help your child speak more clearly and confidently!
Language therapy helps children who have receptive and expressive language delays/impairments. Receptive language difficulties include, difficulty following directions, understanding basic concepts and grammatical structures, recalling information, answering WH questions, etc., Expressive language difficulties includes, effectively expressing wants and needs, formulating sentences of increasing complexity, using developmentally appropriate vocabulary, etc., Our goal is to help your child communicate with confidence!
Play skills therapy focuses on the development of pre-linguistic skills to facilitate other stages of play and foster language development while also embracing every child’s unique interests. We follow your child’s lead and use their unique interests to make learning fun and meaningful!
Social communication therapy help children build skills for connecting with others—like reading body language, taking turns in conversation, and understanding social cues. Our approach celebrates every child’s individuality and supports them in authentic and neurodivergent affirming ways!
Early intervention therapy services is tailored to children birth to 3 years of age. It focuses on facilitating the development of language while supporting families through education and parent coaching. Parent coaching is key as we believe YOU are your child’s best teacher!
Feeding Therapy
Sensory-based feeding help children who may be sensitive to the way foods look, smell, feel, or taste—making mealtimes stressful for the whole family. Our therapists gently guide children through fun, pressure-free experiences with food to help them explore new textures, tastes, and smells at their own pace. By reducing anxiety and building positive associations, we help children feel more comfortable trying a wider variety of foods and enjoying mealtime with confidence!
Oral-Motor based feeding help with challenges that stem from the muscles and coordination needed for eating and swallowing. Our therapists work with children to strengthen the lips, tongue, jaw, and cheeks—improving skills like sucking, chewing, and safely swallowing different textures and liquids. Through playful, therapeutic exercises and individualized strategies, we help children develop the oral control needed for safe, efficient, and enjoyable eating!
Occupational Therapy
Gross motor skills help children strengthen their big muscle groups that support balance, coordination, and movement. We focus on skills like jumping, running, climbing, catching, and maintaining posture—essential for play and everyday confidence. Through play-based activities, children build body awareness and control so they can move with ease and independence at home, school, and on the playground!
Fine motor skills help children with the development of small, precise movements needed for everyday tasks like writing, cutting, buttoning, or tying shoes. Our therapists guide children through engaging activities that build hand strength, coordination, and dexterity. These foundational skills not only help with self-care and school readiness but also boost confidence in completing tasks on their own!
Sensory and emotional regulation help child children who experience challenges processing sensory information—sounds, sights, touch, or movement—which can affect focus, comfort, learning, and behavior. Children learn to understand and regulate their bodies and emotions. We use sensory play, movement, and calming strategies to promote attention, self-control, and emotional balance in everyday environments!
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) helps children master the skills needed for daily independence—like dressing, eating, brushing teeth, or organizing their belongings. Through encouragement and guided practice, we help children gain confidence and success in managing their routines at home and school!
