Our services

Pediatric speech and language therapy focuses on your child’s communication skills by addressing speech, language, play skills, and social/pragmatic development.
Our speech therapy services are tailored for children who have difficulty producing developmentally appropriate speech sounds due to imprecise coordination, placement, sequencing, and timing of the oral structures, or to those children who have phonological disorders (e.g., producing “do” instead of “go,” “wun” instead of “run,” “tun” instead of “sun,” etc.,) making speech difficult to understand.
Our language therapy services are tailored for children who have receptive and expressive language delays/impairments. Receptive language difficulties includes, difficulty following directions, understanding basic concepts and grammatical structures, recalling information, answering WH questions, etc., Expressive language difficulties includes, difficulty expressing wants and needs, formulating sentences of increasing complexity, using developmentally appropriate vocabulary, etc.,
Our play skills therapy services focuses on the development of pre-linguistic skills to facilitate other stages of play development and foster language development while also embracing every child’s unique interests.
Our social/pragmatic therapy services focuses on supporting children who have difficulties understanding non-verbal language cues, engaging in social interactions, awareness of communication partners, etc., Most importantly, we embrace everyone’s uniqueness and do our best to provide social support in neurodivergent affirming ways.
Our early intervention therapy services is tailored to children birth to 3 years of age. It focuses on facilitating the development of language while supporting families through education and parent coaching.
Feeding Therapy
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat oral motor, swallowing, and sensory difficulties related to feeding to facilitate appropriate sucking, masticating (chew), and swallowing of foods and liquids and promote enjoyment of a wide variety of foods for optimal nutrition.
Occupational Therapy
Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop their independence while strengthening development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, and visual motor skills for function and socialization. Therapeutic activities work specifically on developmental tasks.
Our play skills therapy services focus on the development of handwriting, cutting with scissors, tying shoes, play skills, brushing teeth, dressing, hand-eye coordination and other fine motor skills. Occupational therapists also assess and address sensory integration (the ability of the brain to take in sensations).
Occupational therapists will work with the child and their family to understand how the child processes sensory stimuli including coordination, fine or gross motor skills, head and trunk control, oral motor skills, feeding, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, handwriting, focusing/attention, emotional or behavioral regulation, or social skills. Occupational therapy can make a big difference in a child’s proprioception so that the brain and body function optimally.
